Our Artist in Residency programs are designed to cater for the needs of the teacher and work within the guidelines of the curriculum while delivering a quality performance outcome and positive learning experience for young people.
Our core strength is working with young people to create engaging Cinematic Theatre productions, the program includes the integration of projection technology into your live performance and we can assist with the facilitation of play building, direction, filming, video editing and technical production.
When you joined my class you raised the bar! You gave me, my drama students and those boys interested in technical production an opportunity to use our theatre in a new and exciting way. The students gained creative learning experiences that I could not offer them and now they want to incorporate cinematic elements in all their forming and presenting work.

Jennings has worked with our school for the past four years and I had
no hesitation in asking him to come on board as our Artist in Residence. We were able to extend our
program in the past two years to really maximise Brad's expertise with
Cinematic techniques and this has added a wonderful new dimension to
our performances. Brad quickly established a very professional and
positive working relationship with our students and helped them to take
a very basic idea and theme and workshop it to become something quite
meaningful and special for the students, the teachers and the parents. The students workied to a tight rehearsal and script
writing schedule that helped to steer the project to a polished,
dynamic performance. The result of this year's project has been that
our Head of Department was so impressed with the final product that she is seeking to increase our
funding so that we can further develop our Artist in Residence program.
Markwell Presents is a very professional organisation and Brad, as
Artistic Director of that organisation, is a wonderful resource and
colleague for Drama Teachers and schools throughout Queensland and
Australia.
