A 60-90 minute presentation for student groups and professional development. The presentation will inform and entertain student audiences and provide a platform of knowledge and ideas to write, design and produce
a Cinematic Theatre performance.

Creating Cinematic Theatre Series (2 to 5 wshops)

Students explore the process of creating a play that integrates live stage performance and visual media elements in more depth.

Using cinematic projection to explore a social dilemma where students work in role using the conventions of a process drama.

Cinematic Ignition

Working from a cinematic pretext, students will be involved in sustained improvisation to explore a theme or social context utilising play building techniques. This workshop is perfect for beginning a new unit of work.

Script in Depth

Focusing on a Markwell Presents production script, students work with the writers to explore the issues and characters with an insight into the process of producing the performance.

Professional development for teachers

We run workshops for teachers on how to integrate new media into theatre performance that include practical information on writing and developing scripts, filming and editing, running live media, and technical tips.
